Definition
Sinusitis is an infection of the inflamasi or on 1 or more paranasal sinus and stople going on conduction mechanisms of water (drainage) normal. Sinusitis were divided into acute sinusitis with symptoms less than 3 weeks, symptoms of sinusitis subakut with 3 weeks to 3 months, and chronicle sinusitis with symptoms more than 3 months (Kennedy, 2007). According to Radojicic, 2004 sinusitis is divided into acute sinusitis with symptoms of less than 4 weeks, with symptoms of sinusitis subakut for 4 to 12 weeks, with symptoms of sinusitis chronicles more than 12 days, and acute sinusitis recurrent to 4 times during the attack and the attack last year, less than 2 weeks.
Agents cause sinusitis may be a virus, bacteria, or fungi (Adams, 1997).
