PATOFISIOLOGI COMBUSTION

HANDLING COMBUSTION
Handling early cause based:
a. Thermal
Heat (fire)
1. Stop, drop (fall), Roll off the target of fire
2. Eliminate Heat restore (effective within <2 minutes) so that hot water at 200 - 300 C flow
3. - Resuscitate (ABC)
- Suspected inhalation trauma (when in a closed room or bristle nose burn)

b. CHEMICAL acid-BASA

2. Irrigation with water and resuscitate ABC
- 2 hour trauma acid (as acid form koagulasi)
- 12 hour trauma basa (basa continue to penetrate the network)
3. May not give antidote! Increase because of damage
4. Rehidrasi

c. ELECTRICITY
1. Keep the source, loose clothing if necessary
2. Resuscitate (ABC)
3. View:
- Status neurologist
- Head trauma, eye
- Heart, thorax, abdomen
4. Rehydrate if necessary
